When location-based content is enabled, Watch'n'Roll can use your approximate region together with local weather, the current season, holidays, festivals, and other regional context to surface movie and TV picks that make sense for the moment.
There's no mood quiz and nothing you need to type. Simply enable "Allow location Based content" in Settings and Watch'n'Roll can automatically use regional context for these recommendations.
Recommendations with real-world context
A recommendation doesn't exist in isolation. The season, weather, holidays, local events, and even the country you're in can all change what feels relevant right now.
If you choose to enable location-based content, Watch'n'Roll can use that surrounding context to surface movie and TV recommendations that feel more timely than the same generic list shown every day of the year.

How it works
You choose whether you want location-based content. Once enabled, you don't have to manually tell the app that it's winter, raining, Christmas, or that a local event is happening.
Turn on "Allow location Based content" in Settings to enable contextual movie and TV recommendations.
The IP address provides an approximate geographic context such as your region or country.
Watch'n'Roll can consider signals such as weather, season, holidays, festivals, events, and regional context.
Those signals help shape movie and TV recommendations that are more relevant to that particular place and moment.
Recommendations that can change with the day
When location-based content is enabled, context helps Watch'n'Roll respond to what's happening now instead of treating every day, country, and season exactly the same.
Around Valentine's Day, romance and date-night movie picks can become more relevant to the moment.
During Christmas, Watch'n'Roll can surface Christmas movies, holiday stories, and family-friendly seasonal picks.
A cold or rainy day can create a very different viewing context from a hot summer evening, and recommendations can reflect that.
Relevant festivals, celebrations, and events can help surface movies or shows connected to what people in that region may currently be experiencing.
Regional context can also help surface titles with stronger relevance to the country or area you're currently in.
With location-based content enabled, a recommendation that makes sense in July may not be the same one that fits Christmas week. Watch'n'Roll can use seasonal and holiday context to make discovery feel connected to the time of year.
